Murphy McCool
Play-by-Play Broadcaster
I have been behind a microphone since I was in sixth grade. Since then, I have honed my craft to be the broadcaster I am today. I have done high school games all the way up to the NJCAA Men’s Basketball National Tournament and the NAIA Women’s Soccer National Tournament.
I have worked in both a radio and television setting while announcing games. On top of this, I have worked in the context of play-by-play, color commentary, and even public address through my time as a broadcaster. I have also worked on many different sports, including football, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s soccer, softball, track and field, and, of course, baseball. Through my work in this field, I have also become proficient in the Adobe suite, including Premiere Pro and Audition.

Rooted in Love
Spring Arbor University WSFC Production
I directed Rooted in Love, a comedic, dating-show-inspired short film that blends satire, storytelling, and campus culture into an engaging narrative. From concept development to final cut, I led the full creative vision—guiding talent on set, managing shot composition, and shaping performance to match the film’s tone and pacing. I coordinated production logistics and worked closely with the crew to keep the project organized, efficient, and creatively consistent. The result is a polished piece that showcases my ability to lead a team, execute a clear vision, and deliver entertaining content with professional quality.
“Murphy’s passion for broadcasting is evident. You can see his work ethic, and the time and dedication he puts into each project, based on his exceptional work.”
